Food Security

Food security in South Sudan has been affected by various challenges that include among others conflict,displacement and environmental factors. This has left millions of people at risk of hunger and malnutrition. SRFcontributes in addressing the gaps in Food Security and Livelihoods by working with various communities byempowering them with knowledge, skills and tools for addressing the above challenges. SRF promotes householdfood production strategies, improves income generating activities and promotes market access and enhancesnutrition and emergency food response initiatives.

We work to to promote food security and livelihoods by sustainably enhancing the means to access affordable,adequate, and quality food supply and other basic necessities.
