South Sudan grapples with many challenges in the health sector including lack of access to basic healthservices, inadequate healthcare facilities, and limited availability of trained health professionals that affect thewell-being of communities. The provision of basic health services, such as primary healthcare, immunization,maternal and child health care, disease prevention and control, and emergency medical services, is crucial toimproving health outcomes and reducing mortality rates.
